IAN LEONARD · SAN DIEGO

Operator who builds.

I run manufacturing operations and design the AI systems, agents, and tools that make a business actually run. A designer and operator who ships — physical builds and production software alike.

The Operator

Manufacturing & operations leadership

I run manufacturing operations day to day — the people, the throughput, the cost, the quality, and the systems that keep production moving. Designer by training, operator by trade: I take a process held together with duct tape and turn it into something that runs the same way every time.

  • Years leading operations
  • Team led
  • Throughput / cost win

The Foundry

Everything I've built

Agent infrastructure, automation engines, dashboards, and live apps — built and deployed, not slideware. Each one is being packaged into a distribution kit you can download and run. Honest status on every card: I'd rather show the roadmap than fake a download button.

The first kits are live to download — each is a real, self-hostable package (setup guide + bring-your-own-keys config). More are packaging via the Distribution Kit Foundry, with paid licensing to follow. Want first access? Get on the list.

How I Work

A vault-driven, dev → live production system

The reason the output is fast and the quality holds: a documented production system that takes work from idea to dev to live with a single decision to ship.

  1. 1

    Capture

Every idea, decision, spec, and voice note lands in a structured vault that's the single source of truth. Nothing important lives in my head or a random doc — and my AI agents read and write it directly.

  2. 2

    Build on dev

Every project has a stable dev surface. I build and iterate there against real infrastructure, so nothing half-finished ever touches what's live.

  3. 3

    Ship to live

One decision moves work from dev to main, and it auto-deploys. Same discipline on every project — that's why the output is fast and the quality holds.

Proof

Build in public

Receipts over claims. The clearest one is live below — a system I built, reporting its own numbers in real time — followed by a running log of what shipped and how fast.

  • Jun 2026Built a self-running market-data engine: owns the whole US market and recomputes it nightly — prices, integrity, signals, income, breadth, macro — fully autonomous in the cloud. The live readout above runs on it.
  • May 2026Shipped this portfolio on a clean dev→main pipeline — repo to styled, deployed site in a day.
  • May 2026Stood up a dev→live deploy pipeline for my private dashboard: push to dev → preview, merge → live.
  • May 2026Built a custom server so my AI agents read and write one shared knowledge base — no more re-explaining context every session.
